  1. Innovations in Development and Empowerment Alternatives (IDEA) | New Delhi
    Development Consultant – IDEA | July 2021 -April 2022, May 2024- Present
    • An innovative project to empower the rural SHG women in business promotion through digital literacy at Karahal Sheopur by entering into MOU with Shakti Shankul (CLF) MPSRLM.
    • The project was undertaken to capacitate SHG women entrepreneurs through digital literacy Merabills in strengthening their business development efforts.
    • The database for the project was the stock of 2000 entrepreneurs supported by MPSRLM under their ‘startup village entrepreneurship program’ (SVEP) initiative.
    • The project sensitized about 1000 entrepreneurs through 30 training programs over three months. More than half of the trainees were from the scheduled tribe category.
    • A similar initiative was undertaken for the micro entrepreneurs in urban slum areas of Ludhiana, Punjab for about 300 entrepreneurs, with the CSR support from Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL).
    • These microentrepreneurs were affiliated to National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM).
    • The project also envisaged the support to these emerging micro enterprises for their health, personal hygiene, sanitation, social empowerment, environmental protection, education for their children, etc.
    • Completed the grading of 251 SHGs implemented by ACCESS Development Services in June 2025, in collaboration with the IDEA team.
    • Developed training modules for project proposal writing on the subjects of :
      • Training series -1 – Development Organizations
      • Training series -2 – Concept of Project, Proposal and Procurement
      • Training series -3 – Drafting of Technical and Financial Components of the Project Proposal.

  • Conducted baseline survey of 1,060 households including 954 artisans in Sarnath, Varanasi, UP.
  • Selection of the project beneficiaries was undertaken through PRA process in 5 villages in Sarnath. Worked with artisans on 5 different crafts like Beads, Zari , Gulabi meenakari, Wooden toys and Clay craft.
  • Facilitated formation of 72 women’s Self-Help Groups with 775 members.
  • Trained 319 vendors across Budha Circuit, Sarnath on behavioral change, financial literacy and also organized ‘buyers and sellers’ meet for them.
  • Trained the project artisans on SHG group dynamics and business development.
  • The intervention resulted in income enhancement of local rural 685 artisans by 25%.
